slightly OT -- saw my first Cayenne today

at the risk of getting this thread moved to another part of the BB, i had to write about my first encounter with a Cayenne. i was closeby my local P-car dealer, and someone was taking one out for a test drive. i had a good 2 minute glance at the vehicle (a Turbo model), and my observations were real simple:

1). from the side, the Cayenne looked very good, but just like all the other "sedan" SUV's that are being manufactured today (Lexus, Infinity, etc.)

2). from the rear, the Cayenne looked good, but just like the other "sedan" SUV's that are being manufactured today.

3). from the front, the Cayenne looked hideous. i can't put it any other way. it looked like someone put a lift kit on a brand new porsche as a joke. it was not a pleasant sight at all.

oh well, 3/4 of the car looks nice, and it has great performance characteristics. perhaps a permanent car bra would be the ticket.........
