Looking for Help – Rear Door Actuators & Shade Gears (2012 Cayenne)

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a 2012 Cayenne and discovered that the rear doors aren’t locking properly. I had it checked at Porsche Long Beach, and the diagnostics confirmed that both rear door actuators have failed and the gears for the rear screen shades are worn/cracked.

As many of you know, dealer prices for these repairs can be outrageous. I’m hoping someone here might be able to recommend a good independent mechanic in the Long Beach/Orange County area who’s experienced with Porsches and genuinely passionate about working on them.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be a shop. If there’s a fellow enthusiast or hobbyist who enjoys working on Cayennes and would be open to collaborating, I’d love to connect.

I’ve already purchased the actuators, clips, and replacement gears, so I’m ready to go on the parts side.

Any leads, advice, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
