Nothing new in Cayenne land?

Curious...It has been a long time since anyone, pro or con has had anything to say here. What gives? Any positive/negative experiences? Opinions on the newest iteration with the VW engine?

Moneyguy, unfortunately the Pelican Cayenne Forum is pretty much dead. If you go to the Rennlist Cayenne forum, you'll find it very active.

Yep...I'm sure it is. So was the Vega, made by Chevrolet.

The Vega was an innovative car for its time with an aluminum engine. Too bad the body quality was so poor. In the rust belt they didn't look good a year after purchase. But, neither did the Dodge Aspen!!

Forgot to mention...I do try to avoid Rennlist whenever possible. There is an attitude amongst some posters that if one does not pay up one should not be allowed there. Didn't like that. And, I had been there since the beginning with a registration number under 100.....

Driven a turbo and an S- I liked it. If I was in the market for one, I would buy one starting with MY 04 or 05. the 03s have had some electrical issues, as well as a few problems with the interior trim. Will probably have most of those bugs worked out by mid 04.

I think the 6 cylinder is a mistake. 0-60 in 9.5?????? That's a joke. Without the power, I wouldn't be interested in the vehicle at all. Of course, I suppose there are many potential buyers interested only in the Porsche name - not the performance.
