Cayenne Odometer verification

Considering a used Cayenne for my son, similar to the one I own. We looked at one that was great, but i was suspicious of the mileage.

I have heard that there is another way to check the true mileage in the event that a previous owner had disabled the odometer, either through a diagnostic connection or other way. How can I verify this?

Thanks

Cayenne Odometer

Well, it's a 2005 with only 15,000 miles on the odometer. The tires made me a bit suspicious, they looked more worn than I would have expected on a car with on 15,000 miles. I tried to look into verifying through the DME, but it only logs operating hours, not miles

Does the rest of the cayenne show like a 15k mile car?Exterior in great shape? Interior brand new? carpet wear, seat wear? pedal wear?Id definitely take it to Porsche or a local independent Porsche shop for a PPI since you aren't sold on its integrity. Itll be easier to tell in the air. Where do you take yours?

Cayenne Odometer

The whole car just gives me a bad taste in my mouth - I have an 06 and I know by looking at mine, which has 35,000 miles on it. I'm not sure if I have the time to really have it checked out, so I will probably pass on it
