Hella L. E. D. Day Runners
Ok, so I've seen a few of these upgrades floating around town on same model year Cayenne, i decided to look into it and found a nice pair of Hella LED daylight's for my Cayenne. I think they add as nice touch, especially when you don't have the cool looking Xenon's. The kit was $235.00 shipped, installation was another $150.00. I watch the guy's install them, they basically removed the head lights, ran the LED wiring up the front through the top via a small hole that was drilled on both sides, in the inner plastic mud liners, they installed the supplied relay and tapped into the corner lights. the LED's are activated by the main head light switch and can be used on all lighting positions. I told the installers to try to keep the cutting or drilling to a minimum, so instead of attaching the LED housing brackets, onto the flimsy plastic grill's on the Cayenne, they added black silicone to help keep them in place. The LED housing fit nice and snug to begin with, so really no need for extra holes. What do you guy's think?

I thought that accent LED lights had to make the car scowl. ...ala BMW.
