My "other car" is a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Its 10 times the SUV of the Pepper! And I could prob buy 10 of them for the cost one one Pepper! The only reason Porsche is doing this is $$$$ they need the cash and SUVs are the hottest selling vehicles in the world. Its a "financial decision". Personally I wish them luck and hope they sell a ton of em. All that cash will help keep Porsche independant and hopefully allow them to return thier focus on "Air Cooled Awesome Sports Cars and Auto Racing"!!!

Lets see sell my Jeep and buy a Pepper?

I don't think so!

I also have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee!

A truly incredible car. Well designed and comfortable. I fly fish a lot, and the Grand Cherokee is an absolute BEAST off-road. Its not some silly station wagon they added 4WD to. So we both drive 911 SC's and Jeep Grand Cherokees. This is spooky. Are you a fly-fisherman?

WoW!! That thing is ugly!! I too have a Grand Cherokee - 1994 Laredo. Bought it new in 1993, and I have no reason to get rid of it. Great offroad - and great for hauling junk around. My Porsche is a 1988 930.

yeah, they all refer to the new jeep liberty as a chick car. one time i was reading a post where they photoshopped a dodge durango humping a dodge neon, and it gave birth to the new jeep liberty.

as i said, i'm not a member there and most of the stuff posted is b.s rockclimbing stuff. i did learn that i'm not alone in having to replace my jeeps fuel pump multiple times.

ALL SUVs are just butt-ugly trucks, period.

I think the Pepper car, from the pictures anyway, is less ugly, particularly the front. Of course, we all know what commercial marketing departments can do with photos! Interesting to see one in person. -

I would say 80% of people out there hate them.............

But I see it as an opportunity................

In 10 years.........these things will be a dime a dozen.............

Wouldn't you love getting your hands on that engine!!!!!!!!!

Those brakes!!!!!!!!!!!!
