DOT 4 brake fluid

DOT 4 brake fluid is mineral based as long as it doesn't say synthetic right? Am I safe to put good quality DOT 4 in my 955 with the big brakes, or should I spring for $40 a liter stuff from Porsche?

Dot 4 brake fluid

I use ATE Super Blue/Gold in all my Porsches....about $15/qt. Use proper bleeding equipment/procedures.
