Removing an 04 Cayenne driver door handle

Can anyone tell me how to remove a drivers door handle? Or better still, is there a way to remove the lock cylinder by itself. I'm swapping a damaged door for a scrap yard door, and need to retain the original lock. Thanks, Mark

Almost 70 views in 4 days without a single response, this is clearly an involved job, but I can't imagine an uncommon one. I've taken the old door apart down to the rivets on the inner black steel panel, but it feels as if more needs disassembly before it will pull loose. Is there something attached to the inside of the inner black panel?

All I know is the design of other handles. ...many have one end that needs to be slid out (it hooks/wedges under the sheet metal. ...the other end having been screwed down.

Yup, I found the screw end, its in the door jamb under a v shaped rubber plug. But, it still wont pull free of the door skin. Next step will be to cut up the door skin to peel it back and see whats left to remove. I'll post some pics as I cut up the old damaged door. Thanks for the response.
