I have a 2004 Cayenne with 95000 miles. When starting in the morning when colder or when the temperature is lower the car seems to start with no issue however, when the engine is warmed up it seems to take at least a few seconds of cranking before it actually starts.......very frustrating indeed. I have read on various forums about battery, fuel pumps and earth straps although there has been no definitive answers, any help would be greatly appreciated. The battery has been changed and both fuel pumps also

It would be my first move to check the DME (Engine control unit) for faults, and then if there are faults related to fuel trim, voltage, EVAP or something else then at least you will have a bit of direction. If you can not check the faults you can check the basics, fuel pressure, residual fuel pressure, maintenance items, etc. Remember to check these things when your Cayenne is acting up for the best test results.
