1:18 Scale Models
I am interested in acquiring a few nice 1:18 scale models and wanted to find out how the different brands rank in terms of quality and detail.
If anyone has anythoughts please contribute. Thanks!

From what I have seen autoart has very good quality. Run a search on ebay...they usually fetch around $50. Good luck....

Hi Rob,
I have a few 1:18 cars, as pictured below. The '89 Speedster is by Maisto. Nice Fuchs but the interior isn't very detailed. The 964 Targa is by Anson- okay detailing but not very good. I recently bought a silver 964 cab (hasn't arrived yet) so I hope to swap the targa window over so I have a silver targa and a red cab. The 993 is by Burago. Better interior than the previous 2, but still not great. The Ferrari 550 is by UT. Good detail on it- UT makes a 993 Targa which I have been looking out for. The P38a Range Rover is by Auto Art. Excellent detail- very well done. I paid an average of $25 each for them on Ebay- check out item number 7001800429. Hope this helps! ![]() ![]() Cheers, Paul.
