1/18th Scale 1998 911 GT1
This is a 1/18th scale model of the Le Mans winning 1998 911 GT1. This is the car that Aiello/McNish/Ortelli drove to victory. It is a highly detailed model in immaculate shape still in the original box. A very nice addition to any collectors set. Offered at $75.00 plus $15.00 UPS Ground Shipping and handling. ![]() |

That's a bit overpriced based on what it goes for on diecast websites.

Well - here is what I found when I did my research before posting this model:
The prices are all over the board on both the 1998 and 1999 Le Mans 911 GT1 models. (The 1998 was green with red stripes on the roof) and the folks who say they are selling these models don't actually have any. For the collectors actually selling these "retired" models, the pricing is all over the place, from $75.00 to $200.00 and I only found a few that listed this model. This, the 1999 GT1 was the last Porsche to take the outright, overall win at Le Mans and as such is a significant commemorative. I believe that this is a fair price. If you or anyone else disagrees, you are free to make an offer. Thanks for the input. |

I wonder if they're not pricing the verison that does not have the detailed engine compartment?
I have that version.....not sure who made it........but they were quite inexpensive |

FYI - the above diecast is by Maisto. Not the best quality but very nicely done. The "other" one was made by UT which is Minichamps. IMO they make a better product and are worth more. I have the original GT1 - both cars - and the last one - again both cars. I also have one Maisto GT1
(1999) - a gift - and I feel the decals are much better quality on the UT cars.
