Thread is useless without wife's pics in gym attire.

You guys are great. Will breakfast this after workout suffice? I on the other hand, am firmly ensconced upon the couch with IPad on stomach:

Why not a Caymen or Boxster? Original premis is that I am looking for something that will not bleed depreciation as it sits for most of its life in the garage. We have the money but I am never comfortable feeling like i am wasting it unnecessarily.

The other cars, while having curb appeal also come with more of a snooty factor and less of an enthusiast vibe.

Well I agree with your perception of the enthusiast vibe, except if you're using the car to go to the gym, the state store and lunch, you're not using the enthusiast part of the car anyway. Also, if you're buying the car as an enthusiast then all these cars are a waste of money. There are far far better enthusiast cars for a lot less money. Sure they wont have the curb appeal of a GT3 but they're wicked performers for a fraction of the money you's spend on a GT3.

A Cayman GT4 or a Boxster Spyder will not bleed depreciation, they are specialty cars which will hold value compared to their standard model siblings.

Was I right or was I right.
He’s posting pics of his “work out wife”.
Dude this is sad.

Let me stroke you bc that’s what you want.
Your wife is so cool
She works out
She drives a Porsche
She drives stick
She’s the envy of all your friends
Wow dude. You’re so lucky to have such a cool wife.

Ok did you get enough admiration?

da Vinci Dan 06-28-2018 07:33 AM

Thanks again guys. Will try to get her into a Caymen GT4. Please let me know if you think of others I should consider.

That'll do [emoji1]

It might be a bit on the pricey side, but the awesomest GTx car maybe ever, which likely won't depreciate until the government prohibits people from driving their own cars, is the 4.0. Epic car through and through.

But then if you budget four hundred grand, that opens all sorts of possibilities.

I reiterate, look at a 997 GTS.

It's like they are listening in on us. It's even a manual one.

I do like 997.2 GTS but if your spending that kind of money buy a Mezger. You can get a nice GT3 997.1 for just a little more or a perfect spec'd 997 Turbo Coupe 6spd with under 40k miles.

If you aren't tracking it, Mezger don't matter. Sure, it's legendary, but it's not required. I personally wouldn't expect the turbo to hold value as well as the GTS. And we've already discussed why the GT3 is too raw.

Dude, Rawk and Juan post from the can. Sans pants is just expected unless you're stuck at work. Wait, I am at work...

Here is a good one for you.... Do you think that rear wing will create enough downforce to keep your wife on the road when she drives to the gym or liquor store? Maybe its overkill? Although this one does not have the carbon ceramic brakes so you might want to pass on it. Do you think they would heat up enough on the ride to the gym to be really effective?
