Give him another 6 months and he will knock her up AND be big enough to eat. Once I have 2 breeding sows, I will be getting 10-20 piglets a year @$400 a head. Plus all the pork I can eat free of charge. :D

No, it's neither investing nor a retirement plan, but it's practical living. I've got a 401k and rothira for the other stuff. I'm not much of a stock market guy. I've got 20 years until I retire. I put it in and leave it in for the most part.

This made me LOL. Good one Trader. You forgot to ask what's under the mattress.

I like pigs, and your laid back farming methods. Makes money too!

As for your retirement plan, nothing wrong with that either. Just pick good, low fee Mutual Fund Index Funds, put money in all the time, review their performance once or twice a year and let 'em ride for the next 20 years. You'll do fine that way.

I'm long in Iron.

Let me get this back on tractor. So, Da Vinci wants a toy for his wife that will not lose and possibly gain in value. I don't know anyone well enough to really go off track here but let us know when you figure it out. My suggestion is older air cooled.

Why not consider a 993? The AC is every bit as efficient as a 997 or 991, the interior, although simple, is high quality and solid. I feel like it is still a very fast and powerful car, just without the rocket acceleration of the later water-cooled cars. And the 993 as everyone knows isn't dropping in value.

I'm in iron too, but worry that it might rust into oblivion before I realize any sort of return on it. A spring storm with 100+mph winds took out my parking shed and I haven't gotten around to leveling it yet and replacing it with a new building. Thankfully nothing but my tractor mower and a few gearbox cases were inside when it happened.

Iron, has built in time decay just like options and futures. Well except the time horizon on the time decay is a little longer than options or futures. Remember ..... "rust never sleeps"
