Value 83 911 SC Engine
Hi,I have a 1983 SC Engine with 26,000 miles.Runs perfect.Hot leakdown is between 1-2%.Late 83 so it has 3.2 case with pressure fed tensioners. It is ROW so it has large port heads like 78-79.Makes 231 HP plus it has SSI heater boxes which add about 20 HP more.I adjusted the valves and retorqued the heads before leakdown.Still in the car and can be driven. What is it worth for a 250 horse motor that is plug and play.Ciao Fred

26k original miles or miles since rebuild?
I'd go ahead ans say if in described mechanical health, $15k (may be a tad high but price goes up as days go by)

A P&P 250hp low mileage motor with a clean bill of health, yeah try $15K, someone will scoop it up.
Standard P&P 3.0s are going for close to $10K these days. Last edited by pmax; 08-20-2018 at 05:54 PM.. |

How did that car get so beat up in only 26k miles? I’d bet it’s more like a TMU car.
