To file a claim against the shipper would have been total fraud and would have been denied in an instant. I cannot seem to upload photos here (probably because I don't have enough posts) but the broken edge is covered in years of dust and dirt.

If you didn't have the parts you were selling then don't sell them at all, that's not my fault. 3.5 months was a pretty generous amount of time. You could have told me months ago you didn't have everything.

moose, take this over to rennlist. that's what you pay them for over there. you admittedly don't frequent pelican much and then you bring this trash over here looking to drum up support for your cause? bad form.

you've made your point, the seller and you seem to have some dialog again so take this bleep to where you live, get it out of our hood and I won't park my broken down shat in front of your house.

Juanbenae really likes when you drip oil in his street.

Instead of begging for free parts nobody is going to give you David, why don’t the two of you just come to an agreement on a dollar value that makes this problem go away.

OR...

David, take the motor back and issue a full refund and then file an insurance claim for the damage. If it turns out that they won’t give it to you because it gets proved that it was damaged prior to shipping, possibly like the buyer said, that’s your fault and you need to eat it as a result.

Those are really the only two options at this point, continuing this as an additional parts compensation package is a bit ludicrous. Especially when the parts requested by buyer, the seller obviously doesn’t have, or want to spend any money on, which he has made perfectly clear.

Buyer, if seller isn’t willing to take part in either of those options, you're probably SOL. Your best bet at that point is to try and get the seller banned from Pelican, which doesn’t really help you at all, but it could hurt him.

That’s your free mediated advice. Heed it. Ignore it. Laugh at it. I don’t care. It doesn’t matter much to me, but being a part of a few of these failed parts transactions as a buyer, I’m fully aware of your limited options here. And those are it.

I have notified Pelican of sellers that didn't honor their word, and they got banned with expedience. At least in my couple cases they did.

He also had loose, aftermarket side mirrors that he expertly fixed with a good ol' screwing, like a BOSS!

I can deal with this later this week. I simply do not currently have time for this stuff. Also, I wasn't begging for free parts really; you should learn to take a joke every once in awhile.

consider stepping off of this shat show judge judy. don't agree to the moose's terms by keeping this alive. mr. baily seems more like you and i where moose is using this forum for his own personal satisfaction like a rennlister is apt to do. let this drift away by letting go to the bottom of the page.

I’ve been in the buyer’s shoes so I know the frustration. If my comments help, then great. If they don’t, no harm no foul. I won’t find either of them in contempt of Pelican court. lol
