Wow! I thought this thread was finished with some good answers from some good solid forum people. I can’t believe this bot amg463 is still hanging around on my thread(s) after warning him not to for illegitimate posts. He continues to do so, when not one of his posts are legitimate. This is a pattern here and I want to invoke some Moderators or an Administrator here. Any members who wish to back me up on this are welcome. This kind of person is not only diluting my threads, he is also diluting the whole forum i.e. he/she or people like them. They build up their post count on a pretense, and later, they have more clout to pull the same kind of bullsh-t, as if no one notices. Someone should notice this. This guy had 600 plus posts, now over 700, and I can’t account for them. I wouldn’t waste my time digging up all his posts, but I would guess very few have any real value to the forum based on this current pattern. If an administrator or moderator misses this, I will eventually contact wayne demsay himself. I have contacted him recently on a rare part in Japan. Still in negotiating process, and whether he wants the part or not, but if he does, part of my negotiating will be to get this bot off my thread and the forum altogether; moreover, I won’t miss people like him. |
Bernard, yes this guy is trolling you. It is rude, but it's not worth getting so upset. You can go to your control panel and hide everything he says. It's the simplest solution and avoids any added drama. Life is short. Don't let some random on the internet ruin your day.

I have contributed more to this forum than all of your "how much are my parts worth" threads combined. moreover, I attend pelican meets regularly and am a valued member of this forum. Not only that, I buy parts from Pelican. You can't say the same. VOTE ME for President of Pelican 2020!

congratulations, you're awesome...

thanks dwelle, can I count on your vote in the upcoming election?

Pelican was sold. Wayne doesn't even own it anymore. All bird board street cred is now invalid. Haha.

Agreed, beat it Bernard, go back to your home country to face prosecution you sexual deviant. We know you're hiding over there in the countryside of Japan.

Isn’t this such a lovely forum!

I just don't click on threads that don't interest me. Scroll on past. It's simple.

In Bernard’s defense, he’s just trying to gauge value for what he has, while some people just want to pick him off on his parts. |

Yes, Bernard is dramatic. He once attacked me in the same way. It gets him nowhere and makes people less likely to help. But if they don't want to help in the first place they shouldn't even be in the thread. |
Very true. But we both know that this forum has more than it’s fair share of instigators. Those can’t be avoided, but they can be dealt with better of course.

Here we are again in the wild west. The first amendment is in full gear. That is good! This is America and I'm proud of her. You might be a King on the forum, and I am a fan, yet I will always be a formidable foe if you can't be fair. I've said it before, I'll say it again. I did apologize before didn't I?? bernard |
Now that was funny.

I like your style and integrity. If Matt Monson wants to skip over uninteresting threads as a rule because they aren't worth looking at, he should skip over this one. Is he going to post again? I wanted this thread to die a long time ago. I got the only qualified member's opinions already, with the exception of amg463. I guess what I said last night caused a sh-tstorm. Its time to go I say. Tomorrow I have a Keiyaki floor to install in the living room. My American carpenter has been AWOL, but coming tom. morning. Need the beauty sleep. bernard |
