I'll be up the in the morning just to make sure my chubby new growth is still in tact. One never knows when the raiders are at hand. I don't mind too much though, they keep producing (the mushrooms) It hurts when they decimate a whole veggie patch however. Last year I was lazy and didn't put up an electric wire. The deer got in and ate all my black bean and sweet potato leaves and stalks down to nil. Live and learn as they say.

I keep the Canada Geese away with a BB gun. Poke them a few times and they tend not to come back.

Kan't poke these monkeys Nick! They aren't small and if provoked the whole troupe may come at you. They are quite shy and don't come close to humans, yet they can bite and or be violent if provoked or cornered.

Speaking of Canadian, I sent off my application to the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo today for Canadian citizenship! Shouldn't be too long and I'll be a dual national. My parents were both Canadian still when I was born in USA, so all I need do is apply. Next step after that is get a Canadian passport. Always good to have a few options in case war breaks out, or the world gets hotter than hell. All my relatives live up there, so I might have some land to tend to i.e. they have farms. 22% of the world's fresh water, decent medical? What do you think?

Nope, you're the lawyer. See post #187.
I could make you Toby's character if you prefer being the cornholee?

I saw that and appreciate being the lawyer.

I hope Bernie saw the note about the planned maintenance. I would hate for him to log in in a few hours, see the message, and think he was banned again...http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat3.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/sad2.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...oilet_claw.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...leys/silly.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...leys/vuur1.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/dom.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...s/boldblue.gif

Thanks Matt! No, I did see that and still glad to be part of the never been banned club. I hope to keep up my good behavior and hopefully remain in the club, unlike JMS935.

Nothing of the sort! We are talking Canadian Aye! This is something Texans know nothing about! I remember the bumper stickers in early 80's in Dallas reading -- Love NY? Take highway 30E!! So you hoser, when I get my Canadian citizenship, one day I'll take you up there as a refugee when Ft. Worth becomes unlivable due to global temperature rise aye?!

First time me too seeing that one. It was just Fine! Reminds me of Milano and the vanity of the extra terrestrial nature of editorial markets i.e. the fashion centers like Milan, Paris and New York. Where the money is, like catalog markets e.g. Osaka, Germany, the UK, and the USA that is where you can make good, consistent money in that bus. The rest is all vanity! The irony is that one may need to grace the vanity markets in order to get a place in the commercial markets where there is good money on a regular basis. Anyway you look at it, it's vain, unless you can make some decent cash in the catalog markets without much dabbling in the editorial markets. Life is short and it's all vanity according to the teacher -- king Solomon, author of Ecclesiastes. .That's my experience anyway, and so I say -- All is vanity says the teacher!

Looks like CC's carb jetting is a little on the fat side (note the full throttle sputter)!!!

https://gifimage.net/wp-content/uplo...man-gif-14.gif

juanbenae 02-27-2020 06:50 AM

good power through entire throttle range here. funny thing is the car at the higher altitude up here is actually running a tad leaner with no jetting changes at all????? not sure how or why this is the case, but it has been to this point. it's now getting the AF numbers i was always shooting for at sea level.

maybe it's the clean, smog free air up here in the foothills?

got it out again yesterday and it was a blast. about 30 miles up 108 and back, then around "town" some. did not anticipate doing this much driving so early in the year but the weather is dry and snow free at 7k feet plus.

And I would be honored to flog your . . . caveman car, but fair warning that I always roll commando!!!

TB's car's too darn clean for a caveman. He needs a new moniker, something from the other thread might just do ...

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1582818619.jpg
How often do you think the bumpers are cleansed with baby wipes?

Rawknees'Turbo 02-27-2020 11:50 AM

^^^

What about Tobs's personal bumper - baby wipes used there too? How effective could they be with all that caveman foliage?!?!

They might something in common after all !

Seriously, that's one thoroughly cleansed car. What's the secret to that pure white ? Thought cavemen all run dirty carbs.

Rawknees'Turbo 02-27-2020 09:23 PM

^^^

Nutz, if you want to see a truly fuel fouled rear end on a car (the back 3rd of the quarters, too), check out a Turbo with its dinosaur tech CIS - bisch runs so rich at initial closed throttle, and often times mid-range, just prior to boost onset (depending on level of WUR tune), that the back of the car gets thoroughly speckled with carbon. The engine's very low static compression ratio plays a role in that, too.

pmax 02-27-2020 09:36 PM

^^^ This random 930 seems OK at idle revving ...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IS-ZVQJFnQs

But yeah, the CIS dinotech is dirty but still cleaner than caveman carbs ! Note the dirty behind on that 930. That's the other weird thing ... all these carb boys seem obsessed with a clean posterior. The motronic on the 3.2 is space age by comparison and the pipes are soot free.

Rawknees'Turbo 02-27-2020 09:43 PM

They can run very lean and clean at idle and stationary throttle blipping, but get one out on the road, and watch what goes on with the AFR meter during the conditions I mentioned. There's a reason these bisches got awarded with the gas guzzler tax, back in the day - fookin more thirsty than Bernz after one of his Real McCoy encounters!!!

what you guys need is a shug "what do you see here thread" regarding the bumper. it's actually not even painted and the white jell coat is orange peel texture. the bright sun in the case hides the truth.

actually rarely wash, in fact it's not been washed since ive been up here.

Real McCoy encounters come around once in a lifetime, perhaps twice if one is extremely lucky. Like Nick said, corn roller, corn rollee, you two bois should consider yourselves part of the most fortunate few club. It's akin to winning the lottery!
