Trying to determine value of a 1998S2S

I'm looking at a 1998 993 Carrera S and need some opinions on its value. It seems that once it's determined these cars favorably checked out, the price varies significantly based on mileage and this is where I have trouble arriving at a fair purchase price. Based on these facts, I would like to receive comments as the private purchase value.
The car is silver with gray interior, 6 speed manual, clean Carfax, 45,000 fully documented miles, 2 owners, mostly original paint, full service records, well optioned including motor sound, full leather power seats, turbo twist wheels. The motor never had major work. PPI didn't disclose any significant issues.
Thanks for your opinions.

what is the asking price? it's hard to throw out a number that is relevant, although S1I did some great research for you on comparable cars. in order to be truly helped by the ones you ask for insight you need to help the ones who are asked with facts.

it's a you get out what you put in thing here.

The seller is asking me to make a firm offer. I'm thinking $90,000. Other than what info I furnished, what more would you want to know?

I would offer $75K and go from there. Seller should say asking price as a starting point, though... They may be happy with $50K.

90k bucks? As an opening offer? So you're willing to open at high retail?

You're getting good advice here. At one point, these were all $115K cars and the air has come out of the market since then. $75-80K is a good opening offer. Good luck.

post this on Rennlist more frequented by 964 / 993 owners, good luck.

Probably $ 85K if it checks out.

This sale on BAT is a good indication of current values and cudo to the seller for a no reserve auction;

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1997-porsche-911-carrera-s-15/

$ 77500 + 5 % buyers premium this is a good buy but not many sellers are going to do a no reserve on a hot car like this.

And the one you are interested in has lower miles, condition who knows?

Thanks for some good feedback. I went in at $80,000 and was countered at $97,500. It's a nice car and I would raise my bid some, but not close to what he's asking. I'll keep looking and paying more attention to BaT.

Any interest in a red / tan C2S with slightly less miles and in your price range? Give me a call if you would like to discuss further
