I have many friends that buy and flip or sell cars on consignment. The good ones serve a purpose there are a number of people who just want the car gone or don't want the hassle of searching for what they want and can afford to pay a premium for a nice car.
There are unscrupulous flippers just as there are sellers of cars they have owned for a long time. To separate flippers out would be unfair. If you don't educate yourself about these cars you get what you deserve.
I would flip cars myself it is easy enough to do although I have one problem. Once I fix a car to my level of satisfaction I have a hard time selling it or any of the cars I own.
Instead I just like to fix them for others. Working on them and making them right is very rewarding.
