Porsche 993 Roller Value
I'd love to hear your opinions on what the value might be on a 1997 993 tip roller. No motor, no harness, no ecu, everything else is there and in good condition. Car has rebuilt title. Black / Black. Performance Bilstein suspension.
There is / was a 993 cab roller listed on Pelican for $13k... not sure whether or not it sold... otherwise I have not seen many on the market. A stripped out 964 targa 4 roller, manual sold on BAT in December for $16k USD. Thanks |

With a branded title I'd say 10K.

i would suggest u do some research on the title status relative to the state it was issued -
you MAY have trouble registering it if its out of state rebuilt idk also - why is it "rebuilt" ? flood ? crashed ? why is it being g sold off ? if its a "good deal" ? beware there arent any 911 good deals lol im not an expert but if that uni-body shell is racked ? your screwed if you make the purchase try to get as much paperwork with it as possible including any previous registration bill of sale ext etc you certainly wouldn't want to make the purchase and then find it wont take an alignment or that you cant register it anyway good luck on your endeavor but be careful |

My 993 has a re-built out of state title, so NY made me go through their salvage inspection, it passed, but it was a nail biting affair. What if it hadn't?
You can read about the car here: https://www.pca.org/news/2018-01-01/barnfinding-beware-cheap-porsche But the real question is unless you have a motor/gearbox etc, what are you going to do with a roller, the missing components probably out value the chassis. So unless you have an LS1 fantasy or have the missing components tread carefully. ---Adam ![]() ![]()

I agree with you there. Replacement engines and components are very pricey and many are ready for costly rebuilds. My feeling is that a roller chassis perfect for someone with spare components in place and/or as a spare chassis for someone who has a track car or someone looking to build up a track focused / DE 993 / RWB??

Good call... I do need to dig up more history on the car to determine the extent of the damage and when it occurred. I had not thought of registration issues for out of state / country rebuilt status. That certainly could impact its value. Thanks for your input ![]() |

Sorry if I was not clear on my original post. I own the car. Considering selling it. Just gauging value / potential market interest from the forum as there is not much to go on for 993s.
