New hood badge

I bought a couple repro hood badges from AASE a couple years ago, nice lookin repros. I wanted to see how one would hold up to some summer Nebraska sun & heat. I put it outside, facing south/southeast for a couple months. The red color has turned somewhat transluscent and blotchy. I`ve tried to show it in some pics here. Just an experiment I wanted to do!
