911 value please

Hello, I have a buddy who has a 1999 911 cab. when he went to start it after sitting about 6mo's it had zero power. He had it towed to the Porsche dealership I work at and was told by our tech some of the engine wires had been eaten by a mouse. rather than spend more $$ on it he wants me to sell it as is. looks like a silver ext. and a blue top. the body and top are good, the int. is rough as far as the leather on the drivers seat is concerned. The car is complete, was running well up to sometime in the last few months, I will have the miles later today. thanks in advance

Tip or Manual? Mileage? Pictures? 1999 is one of the least sought after 911s. I would expect under $15k by your description. Could be under $10k depending on how rough.

x2.. 996 is not overly sought after (yet.. give it another 10 years ) Wholesale price (ie, what a dealer would take as a trade) sounds like less than $10k. Depending on mileage, if running, could be $15-20K at the top. C2? C4? Tip? Manual? etc...

Start at $11k and see if you get any bites.

the chewed wires could make it almost worthless. that's akin to flood damage in that you'll never really know the extent of the damage. the motor could be worth something if it has the IMS upgrade as so many of the 996's have had the IMS fail ruining the motor which cost more than the car is worth.
