SC Cabriolet Valuation
Looking at the Panorama advertisements for mid 80's SC's I see the average price is well above my stated value for insurance. I am in the process of increasing the value based on the asking price and am getting push back from the underwriters. I shared with them a copy of the mid-80's page but curious what other proof you have provided to show the value of your car to the insurance company?
Thanks

Asking isn’t getting. Excellence does an annual market report issue. They should give that more credibility.

I totally forgot about that! Thanks.
Anybody have a copy of the SC Excellence Market Report Issue? Or at least the issue that covered SC's/mid-80's 911's?

If your insurer is fighting you on raising the agreed value, then contemplate what kind of fight they might put up if and when you actually need to file a claim. I would see this as a major red flag, find an insurer that will be happy to take more more premium from you with a higher agreed value for your car.
