shipping recommendations wanted

Hope this is in the right forum;

I'm looking at a 2011 boxster sitting in florida. would have to have it shipped to my address in Canada (saskatchewan, zip- s7j5g3) .

Would appreciate any recommendations for a shipper to do the long haul.

If it were spring i would fly and drive , but we've already had our 2nd bout with snow...

thanks

Warning: whatever you do, do not put your name, phone etc into one of those “transport quote “ sites online ! You will get bombarded with calls and emails immediately from dozens of transport companies..

I’m still getting calls and emails from these clowns 2 years later.

Joseph Jakubus hauled a couple cars for me earlier this year. That’s his screen name here. I know he goes to Florida fairly often. Don’t know if he would haul into Canada but he’s based in the Midwest. Maybe he can get it close enough you could fly down and grab it from his place.

thanks for the info so far, Matt that sounds doable. again depending on the weather. Im still trying to wrap my head around the tax implications, and clearing usa/canada customs.

Just use Plycar. They own the trucks and employ the drivers and work to a high standard. They're also reasonably priced because of the volume they do.

I am in Florida now. And have one spot open in the trailer coming back to Michigan. Will be here 3 more times over the next month if you need me. Send me a pm if you wish with your contact information and maybe I can help you? Joe

+1 for Joseph
Shipped a car for me this year and was a true gent to deal with.
I’ve used ‘cheap as I can get’ on line quote shippers in the past and never would again.
Matt recommended Joseph to me and I can’t fault his service in any way.
He even had a few good tales to tell while he was unloading.
