Here is a scary thought, California wants to ban all gas powered cars by 2040. See what our cars are worth then!! They may let us tow our cars to a weekend track and make a day of it . Or tow to cars and coffee so we can look at other $5000 Porsche cars.

Tow with what? Battery powered truck? That is going to take some serious advancements in battery and motor tech.

You guys got it all wrong. Not only will ICE cars/trucks be outlawed, 7 billion people will no longer be here either. This is not my opinion and is listed on the Georgia Guide Stones...
A message consisting of a set of ten guidelines or principles is engraved on the Georgia Guidestones[8] in eight different languages, one language on each face of the four large upright stones. Moving clockwise around the structure from due north, these languages are: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Traditional Chinese, and Russian.

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
Unite humanity with a living new language.
Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
Balance personal rights with social duties.
Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

Private country club tracks like the Thermal Club and Inde Motorsports Ranch are the future. Some of them even have airstrips. With time, vintage cars with ICE will become the venue of rich boys playing with their toys. In the end, cars are becoming appliances.

Unfortunately, our addiction to the car has made us woefully behind the world in our rail infrastructure. America is going to need to do something about that at some point, but in the short term it will quite likely extend the lifespan of the car.

This is the chicken little thread.

BaT information allays fears of impending doom.

BaT information indicates a strong impact bumper market, It also appears to be discriminating based on quality.
Looks like highest values realized in 2019.

My friends and I were just joking the other day about not having a dooms day prophesy to laugh about. Comets, Y2K, 2112 Mayans; they all came and went.
I hope this is the new end of the world fear-mongering I love to make fun of.

The funny thing about the Mayans end of the world was the the europeans knew nothing about it.
It was largely and American thing
