Value of 2 doors

I bought these doors from a fellow vintage racer who wrecked his 1969 911 several years ago in a race. I was going to build a 912 race car and that project is long since abandoned. They are in fairly good shape with the window frames. The glass has been replaced with plexiglass. Looking for a rough idea of what they are worth. I've had them in storage for years.

are there door cards on them or are they bare metal on the interior? is any of the window mechinism still in the doors or are they hollow? you state they have plexi windows that could indicate they are gutted of what I ask about above with the windows manually run up n down secured with straps as ive seen in race doors.

if they are gutted you have a somewhat limited market. the bright trim is where the greatest value may be if it's in good shape. for point of reference I sold a set I took off my SC during a spec911 build for a used pair I gutted, painted and installed for $1600. they had bright trim, all glass and power window mechanisms in place, RS door panels complete, good paint and shape. the buyer who drove 5 hours each way really liked the fact that the passenger door was a factory mirror delete and the very nice bright trim

Thanks for the response. They are gutted and no door cards. I have a ton of photos.
They are not perfect. There is some bubbling on the drivers door. The plexiglass has leather pulls as do the door open/close mechanism. I'll maybe stick them up for $500 locally and see what happens.

I would think the bright trim might be worth more than $500. id post the add with a package price and separate. do some research in the classified section to see if im on mark regarding the frames. with the backdate craze the bright window frames are likely very desirable. shipping the doors also will cut into value as you note a local sale effort may be the best approach.

you might end up stuck with the doors, get your $500+/- for the frames and be left with some cool garage wall art.

Good for a Man Cave, sell them separate.

Walter Payton's cherished 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo fetched a whopping $324,500, plus buyer's fee, in an auction this weekend at the Schaumburg Convention Center. ... The Porsche was the first big-time sports car Payton purchased. He was 25, and well on his way to stardom five years into his NFL career. Oct 29, 2018
