That's interesting for sure. I'm much more familiar with leakage tests done on Lycoming and Continental engines and dayyyyuuummmmnnn, the numbers are often dramatically worse on cold 'v' hot engines - so much so that the cold test is of basically zero value.

Maybe because those are operated in a narrow range and have to compensate for extreme changes in altitude/temperature?

Stock Porsche even with all the expansion of forged pistons and thin cylinders do leak down pretty well cold if they’ve never gotten too hot.
