Car Transport/Shipping Options AL to CA

Hi all!

We are in some wild times and it's making some things that used to be easy and normal, far more difficult to accomplish.

David W and I have been working out a deal for his 73 T project. The main problem is that I'm in CA and he's in AL.

I had a quote request on uship about 5 weeks ago with a plethora of options, but in the last two weeks as I made the deposit and we've been working out the rest of the details, quotes and questions have REALLY dried up.

So my question to all of you, do you know anyone that is still shipping cars across the US? Being that this is a project that comes with lots of boxes of parts, an engine, transmission, and a whole lot of things outside of the car, it's not a standard pickup. We're primarily looking for a guy/gal that has a truck and an enclosed trailer and is willing to accommodate something like this that's non-standard.

I would be disappointed if this doesn't work out but I've thought about it and would also have no regrets if it won't work. If I'm ultimately not the buyer, someone else is going to get a great start for a project!

Any ideas or introductions would be appreciated!

Thank you in advance,
Gabe

Try Joseph Jakubus. A search of shipping threads here should get you his contact information. If he takes the job, I've got a car in Vegas I need brought CO I would throw into the transaction.

Great! Thanks for the quick response. I pmed him with a link to this thread. I'm sure having multiple cars would make it more enticing.
