I sent an original BuddyBar Shelby Cobra "T" oil pan to be restored. The tracking number shows it was delivered to the company doing the restoration, they never got it. **** happens. Stuff is lost all the time, sent to the wrong address, placed in the wrong mailbox, whatever.

If the seller has no signature or actual proof of delivery, other than UPS or FedEX 'saying' they dropped the item, he's got nothing. Packages disappear from stoops and front doors all the time. No signature, no proof.

The fact that you promised to buy, sent someone your address to ship, promising to pay up but did not, and after being reminded when you finally signed on to RL after 7 months, giving you the benefit of the doubt here, that you did not profusely apologize to the seller for the oversight and promptly send the $20 (!) you promised to pay in the first place .... regardless of whether you received the item or forgot you received something 7 months ago.
