Identify these brakes/adapters 964?

Hi guys selling this pair of 964 front 4 piston calipers with adapter brackets.

First off, what are they?

Secondly what's a good price to list the pair for?

Thank you in advance

clean the calipers up, rebuild them, restore the porsche script and you will get a ton from all the guys that want the PORSCHE script poking thru the paddles... how much you want? maybe ill buy them and do what ive suggested.

I did attempt to clean them. Stupidly I wasn't looking very closely at the can and it said "Carb cleaner" Hence why the paint is all coming off. Not a big deal really because they were gosh awful yellow with red letters. what is this Mcdonalds? blech

with the weekly "i want to upgrade my brakes" threads from guys with non tracked cars that simply want the look of the bigger brakes there has to be a market for them. have you done any classified research on the calipers and the adapters separately?

Definitely did, though I made this thread with the intent of someone just saying "Oh these are XXXXX from a XXXX" once I got that info I was going to post them for sale, I actually have the back matching set. They are all setup to bolt onto an IB car. They actually belong to another friend who gave them to Mr. B up above. So talk to him if he wants to sell them now.

That's because they are standard 964 brakes.

You need to measure the piston sizes. These look to be the later style 964 brakes. The earlier ones had raised cast lettering. If piston sizes are 40/36mm then they are stock 964 front calipers. 30/28mm would make them 964 Late MY rears. 34/30mm would be 964 turbo rears which used a wider 28mm vs 24mm rotor. I have 800 mile like new front calipers and full sets of fully restored calipers and turbo red rears and GL trying to get anything reasonable for them inn this condition. I can't sell the like new ones for a fraction of the cost new. If they are rears they might be worth something to owners of early 964 C2's that have the 2 piston rears, otherwise everyone wants big brake turbo calipers with 993 rears for the 964's. FYI these use the same pads as the 917 or 930 turbo calipers.
