‘99 996 Cab with Hard Top

All- I have the above with 50K miles. Excellent condition in and out, with all records. I’m considering putting it up this coming Spring on BaT - my question is - is there a premium for the HT option? And how much. By what I’m seeing, very similars selling in the $22K range.
Thanks

I shopped those for a while before I bought my 40 Jahre. I can't say for sure how much of a premium they add in general, but I was willing to pay an extra $1000-1500 to get one with a hardtop. I see used ones sell for around $800-1000. Hope that helps.

I think $22k is likely a bit low. I would expect $25-28k with that mileage, even if it's one of the boring colors like silver or black.

I bought two 996's from new with a HT and bought a HT separately. I think Matt is correct in his pricing today. I bought the used HT for $400 and sold it for $600, years ago.

Having owned 3, I think they're a waste of money, although cool to have. They're a pain to install, take off and store. If you're driving your car in the snow and salt, maybe, but do you really want your convertible top folded up for 6 months in the Fall/Winter?

I guess some people would pay a premium for a car with it, but not much. Your premium is coming from the low mileage. What color is your car and have you had the IMS/RMS done? Those are the real questions.

Crazy low miles and no hardtop but still worth watching it.
