Little cars

They are just as addictive, but if you organize them it's a "collection", right?

Just re-did the office.

Years ago I looked into these because some Japanese Porsche friends said there was good money in it IF you have the rare, desirable ones that are worth a good quid. I tried but never acquired the right ones. Adam seems to have achieved quite the collection as a whole.

One could joke saying ... What separates the men from the boys is the size/price of their toys. However, Adam seems to have spanned the whole spectrum. I admire that, and putting together a collection like this just ensures more knowledge and expertise on all models. He has the expertise on the big cars too

Small cars need maintenance though. Don't you need to wipe and dust them off every 6 months or so? Some day you might want to sell the collection...

My rule is pretty simple, I only like to spend about a $1 on a little car and $5 on a big car, so I see a lot I don't buy. But I go to a lot of antique stores and swap meets so I pick up a bunch, not to mention Wal-Mart for the new stuff. It's something to look for, and it's low bucks fun.

Ironically, those two were gifts, so I don't know how much they cost.

Was that a sales pitch? Adam won't sell the desirable ones because the collection wouldn't ever sell as a consequence. He knows very well which ones are worth real money....

The great thing about the little cars is you can collect them like we used to be able to collect the big cars, for the love of collecting, without everyone's first question is "How much is it all worth?"
When it comes to these little cars, who cars, why would I ever sell them?

Exactly my point, why sell them when there's no profit. Best is to keep collecting as the habit goes. I see a restaurant here nearby city that has all these little guys on display. All American stuff though, no@ Porsche little cars. They have sold that theme here and do hamburgers with some style. The place is always full and they even have a split window Vette (big car) in the garage next to the entry. I just thought if you ever wanted to, a German oriented restaurant would work. German sausages etc. but probably not your cup of tea. You could sell the idea to someone else though, if you ever got tired of collecting. I don't believe that would ever happen, just a thought I had. Collecting things is admirable. I wish I had such a hobby.i

She looks good to me! Good on you! I've always been a one woman man. Mine isn't Mrs. Wong, for I went Japanese. We just call her the Satomster. Sato means sugar in Japanese, so Satomi is original.

This is the only little car I've had really. Bought it on ebay, but I had a duplicate I got from C-WEST also. Don't know where that went. Dropped this one so the wing busted off. I had the real Demo car too, the big one I bought as a body shell from C-West after they stripped it out and put all the parts on a Nismo body to race. I built the whole car back from scratch. Black Rays wheels, dry carbon trunk and wing from the C-west owner for half price new. That wing was much more performance and bigger than the one busted off the little guy. If you want to see the big car, it's posted on Suga's Japanese car thread just recently and also early on. Still got the little guy, got rid of the big guy back in say 2005?

I would take them to the thrift store. Kids would love them for Christmas.
