Yeah, yeah, I know... Beverly Hills Car Club.......
I, as many others, have made the weekend field trip out to their warehouses for a little automotive entertainment. Never saw anyting I would ever consider purchasing.

Still; it seems like they have sort of stepped-up (at least visually) the quality of "some" of their Porsche vehicles of late. (Heck, they even have a $325,000 356 for sale)
I'm wondering if any Los Angelino Porsche Heads have happened to see or are familiar with this car that they have listed below.
https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981-porsche-911sc-coupe-c-11703.htm

If anybody has seen this thing, I would appreciate any thoughts.
Thanks.

The lift placement in the undercarriage photos speaks volumes about their "expertise".
Are buckled floor pans a feature?

Seems like a nice looking car.
However, there are never deals at a dealer flipper.

Bill,
Are you in the market for a car, or are you just browsing listings?

Those mismatched center caps.

They just dropped a couple thousand dollars off the price by lifting the car there, denting in those floor pans like that, I would think.

It seems to me, if you’re looking for a nice SC and have a price in mind, why wouldn’t you put an ad here on pelican and say what you are looking for. You’ll find a better car and a better deal most likely.

If it's original paint and engine/tranny are healthy it's worth a look at that price. Rare color. I've been to their facility and they don't fix anything on their cars for the most part. Sold as is. Bringing an expert to do a PPI is a must with them.

They sell cars and reputable builders buy from them.

Buy with the assumption of every system needing a rebuild.

BHCC has good cars occasionally. But because there are brokers roaming the place constantly, the good ones are usually snatched up before they are photographed and put on the web site.

I go there several times a year to check out cars. Mostly I dissuade prospects from buying. Sometimes they buy anyway.

I did not study that car, but good air cooled cars are getting very difficult to find, we know.

But if a guy looks at cars like this, if no rust, no rust ....then you have a start of a good car and hopefully in 3-5 years the car continues to raise, I believe it’s possible from a dealer like BHCC you can have a nice SC. But you must treat the purchase as a hobby not flipping it ...because no deals at dealers, but time is on your side, this car has good color combo, yes money will be needed, but SC are simple cars and you must do the work yourself, because I thing they will continue to go up and just understand it’s a car, and a great fun working on it, driving it and going to cars and coffee.
