I found this car for sale.

Is there anybody who knows this car or the owner?
It looks to me that it's a very new user of Pelican.

Honestly, if I hadn't just bought a really nice SC for the same price as this one, I'd jump on this in a heartbeat. Even if this car wasn't a low mile, one owner car, it's a heck of a car for $45k and will not last long. I'd do some QUICK due diligence. As long as the engine has been sorted, it's a no lose purchase.

Is it just me or does it seem like a scam? First post, and a slightly too good to be true car?

Right clicking on the first image and searching google for image tells you it's been advertised since last year for $54K so a few phone calls to the dealer in texas etc. would be needed before anything to verify the legitimacy.

Pics elsewhere show the car with the air pump (disconnected) and a 5 blade fan...... eeek.

Its on the Samba for $54,400 and here for $45,400. Owner transposed the numbers or it's a scam.

EDIT - now I see that it was originally from the TX dealer ad as mentioned above.

Hello all,

Thanks for all help.
In the meantime i found out this add on Pelican is a scam!
I think pelican also removed the add now.
So watch out for this seller;
In the email he used the name; Marlee Chastain (trisun.tps@gmail.com)
In the email headers the name; transports trisun
Phone number he used; +1 480 691 1952

He even faked documents of the car, which he redid with his name on it.
Better all be warned ! Luckily I didn't loose any money...

I am a bit shocked that scammers are also on the pelican now...
