US or Row? Makes a huge difference if it's got an MfI engine in the back.

US car, sold by Max Dial Porsche, Los Angeles.
When I wrote original paint, I wanted to indicate that the paint was applied by the factory,
not painted the same color, for clarification.

Nice.

Even a few years back, car like that is already worth $50K-$75K. Now, I say it can push $100K in the right venue.

I agree in that color with that mileage with original paint $100k is pretty comfortable. Could push more at the right venue

What makes a '74 Carrera more valuable than a standard '74 if both have the same 2.7 in the US?

Because they look incredible. 25 more horsepower than the base model.

Look at it in early car terms. The 74 normal is a T. The US Carrera is an E. The Row Carrera is S spec.

Good perspective. Where would you put an ‘74 911S? Somewhere between a T and an E?

You know how a bunch of 70-72 Ts got S deco and trim packages? That's a 74 S.

I would say that’s good enough I was just thinking that they have the same increased horsepower as the US Carrera so I was thinking a stripper E but then the flares threw me off lol

i nearly bought a 74 in 2000 when i ultimately acquired my 78SC. It was the orange color like the one above and had what i believe was not the original tail. it was one of the larger turbo type tails and I ultimately went with the SC cause I was not fully aware of the uniqueness of the car and knew just enough to be leery of the 2.7 motor. don't recall if it was MFI of a CIS. What was it likely to have been? and was the 74 equipped with a duck?

somewhere around $15 cause that's what the SC ended up costing me and was my budget at the time.

Toby, if it was a US car, it was CIS.

No MFI after '73 on any US-bound Porsches.

Well in that case what’s the difference between a 74/75 euro carrera and an SC? What’s the difference between an early S and an E or a T? For the record SCs look great but don’t typically say carrera on the sides, don’t typically have a tail are often times boring colors, don’t have small bumper guards, periscope headlamp washers, small flag mirrors, etc.
