Has anyone ever seen a Ferrari/Maserati/Lamborghini with over 100k on the odo? They must exist, but has one ever been documented? 911SC with 372,XXX? German engineering at it's finest!

My squareback was a personal Hall of Fame car

There is someone local to me (Chicago) who owns an early 60s 250GT with, I think, around 100k on it. Original paint, interior, etc. and drives it lots.

That math doesn't add up.

I didn’t know what to expect but for me it marks an important bottom number for a running air cooled 911.

I know of an 88 that's has over 300K miles on it. Engine rebuild 100K miles ago. The car is very fast and fun and cool. It would easily make $40K and maybe $50K on the market. It's not for sale though. Too good.

It's not just the mileage.

I have a friend with a 1980 SC, 450,000 miles and counting.

Had a full motor rebuild at 250,000 miles and a glass-out repaint around 350,000 miles.
Has no plans of ever selling, still takes multiple trips from NC to FL.

Goes through a lot of rear tires, LOL

Video of the repaint

I don’t doubt that statement for a second. I’m in the care and maintenance trumps mileage camp.

How so? I realize 100k annualized over 60 years isn’t a lot per year on average, but it’s still a lot of mileage for a Ferrari of that vintage.

^This.

My ‘88 had over 379k when I turned it into a race car. Now it’s a pointer-end competitor, tho to be fair only the gauges, front fenders and oil tank have 379k, the rest is brand new/rebuilt.

Driving a car less than 2k mi a year is not “lots” no matter the brand. That’s all.

My baby has 160k 3 owner, CA car from new (1988 911) with a 25k+ rebuild, bottom up engine, suspension and interior refresh. Must be worth a fortune or SC was one very very special car!

It's like how every Delorean has 12,000 miles, because no one ever actually drove one to work, or on a trip, because you couldn't. Or a Maserati!
Now Porsches and Mercedes, they will take as much road as you put in front of them!

This makes me feel good about my 78 SC with 250k+ miles I recently purchased. It had a full engine rebuild about 12k miles/15 years ago along with a glass out respray.
