He “signed” the passport with his first and middle name, and not his first and last (surname). His photo doesn’t add up either.

If I had to guess, he’s using a stolen bank account to receive your funds, then pull them out. The name Donna Chenkin brings up a woman with the right age range and geographic data.

He shopped his photo onto the passport. All the edges don’t match up.

The person Donna Chenkin is likely real, and unknowingly being used. The bank has probably caught on and closed her account. He’ll be selling the car under a new stolen identity.

May start with Donna’s bank and see where funds were pulled to. Probably overseas and gone forever. Good luck.

One more thing. His surname Tamara sounds like a Japanese name, can't be sure though. He may have married a US citizen of Japanese decent to get into the USA via marriage. Just another hint. Relay that to the authorities and it may help them track him down if true.

Thanks for your help and cleverness

I just asked the Japanese wife, and she also checked the net as well. Tamara IS a Japanese name, yet it can be a first name or even a surname. Without the Kanji reading it's difficult to determine which. My wife's first name is a good example. It can be both, a first name or surname depending on the Chinese/Japanese Kanji reading. Track that Tamara sucker down and bleed him....slowly!

I don’t think it is a legit passport but that’s how the picture of mine is. It’s got a white strip on the right side of the photo and the left shoulder looks the same.

A few resources that might be helpful

https://www.justice.gov/criminal-fraud/report-fraud

Definitely talk to the bank, might be a good idea to talk to a local attorney, too. Banks are paranoid these days thanks to anti money laundering legislation. I think there's plenty of opportunity for the bastard to have ****ed up while transferring money through someone else's account, you might be able to follow the cash further than you think.

I mean, he was clumsy enough to put a man's picture on a woman's name passport, who knows what else he might have done.

Why Wisconsin? Looks like you wired the money to New Jersey?

Washington sorry !!

In fact when I have made a complain to the Florida sheriff near Chipley he told me to report to the Washington sheriff, but you are right I will also do to the mount laurel NJ sheriff were the bank is located.

porschenstock 06-04-2021 08:43 AM

Just send a mail to Mount Laurel police were the bank is located.

Don’t be surprised if they do t reply. Banking isn’t local law enforcement jurisdiction.

For sure, I think than on Thursday the shipping driver will again have no contact via phone but I already got an answer from TD Bank where I wired the money as they got in contact with FBI via my complain to IC3.gov

Reno775 06-15-2021 11:07 AM

This is getting interesting.

SkunkWorks 06-15-2021 11:59 AM

Don't believe a word "Don" says. These are classic BS excuses to delay you.

Keep following up with the complaints and investigation until you get your money back.

Agree, and it might be for the best at this point to stop providing updates in this thread. Don't let the son of a ***** prepare for when he's gonna get caught. Sounds like you're on the right track. If I can think of anything that can be of help I'll send you a PM.

Hi Rick,
Many thanks for your advises and help.

This is what he told me via email yesterday !!

Hi Christophe,
Why do you keep reporting me?
I said I will be available for pick up.
and if you are not ready I will return your money...
You are giving me a headache.

Hi Donna,

I spoke to Alex (shipper) which told me than he isn’t confident at all which I believe, so what is the point to lie again and again telling us than you will be there Thursday to get the car picked up as it still on craigslist, also your have been playing with us all this time and still play which I don’t appreciate at all, the shipping will send a driver there as you know and you won’t again pick up your phone and we will end up with an angry driver.

I also spoke to the TD bank and FBI last evening so do something but stop playing !!

Look who showed up, a couple weeks late, and being his usual unhelpful and rude self.

sugarwood had a humorous moment. I get the joke, why can't you MM? Where's your sense of humor except when it pertains to you? Seems hypocritical that you didn't even open your trap earlier in the thread when your ex-BOY AMG463 roasted porschnstock and threw him in the garbage.

Maybe you got some lost love for the boy? Maybe it's just you got a special stiffy for the sugarwood? It could be a combination for all I/we know. Before you try to dominate sugarwood's Japanese car thread, show him a little respect as a member and allow him to post here without your sullen remarks.

Don't be such a prudish and exclusive wannabe on this forum. If you can do that, sugarwood may even be able to reengage on his own (Japanese car) thread, without your permission. That would be a normal chain of events.

Not to make light of porschenstock's dilemma pmax, yet better Madonna -- what the Italians say everyday. Literally it's my lady, or the mother of Jesus. It's most used as an expression of shock!

Nonetheless, Italians often put lots of profane words into any and even one sentence at times like pig, God, f-uck etc. you name it. It's quite the colorful language.

Matt Monson 06-19-2021 09:01 AM

There’s a time and place to play the class clown. You 3 with your antics are insufferable. It’s not some random conversation about an idea. It’s a thread trying to help a guy.

Hah, I take it then the true Italian won’t take any offense in the slightest ! Taking the risk extrapolating by hinting at another "cultural reference", I suspect Porchenstock will not be offended by any of these discussions either :D. I say a little levity is fine, lest PPMPF devolve into a place filled with sullen old folks ;) I myself chuckled mildly at that post.

But it was a good observation regardless on Sugha's part. I, for one and probably others too, missed it.
