He “signed” the passport with his first and middle name, and not his first and last (surname). His photo doesn’t add up either.

If I had to guess, he’s using a stolen bank account to receive your funds, then pull them out. The name Donna Chenkin brings up a woman with the right age range and geographic data.

He shopped his photo onto the passport. All the edges don’t match up.

The person Donna Chenkin is likely real, and unknowingly being used. The bank has probably caught on and closed her account. He’ll be selling the car under a new stolen identity.

May start with Donna’s bank and see where funds were pulled to. Probably overseas and gone forever. Good luck.

One more thing. His surname Tamara sounds like a Japanese name, can't be sure though. He may have married a US citizen of Japanese decent to get into the USA via marriage. Just another hint. Relay that to the authorities and it may help them track him down if true.

Thanks for your help and cleverness

I just asked the Japanese wife, and she also checked the net as well. Tamara IS a Japanese name, yet it can be a first name or even a surname. Without the Kanji reading it's difficult to determine which. My wife's first name is a good example. It can be both, a first name or surname depending on the Chinese/Japanese Kanji reading. Track that Tamara sucker down and bleed him....slowly!

I don’t think it is a legit passport but that’s how the picture of mine is. It’s got a white strip on the right side of the photo and the left shoulder looks the same.

A few resources that might be helpful

https://www.justice.gov/criminal-fraud/report-fraud

Definitely talk to the bank, might be a good idea to talk to a local attorney, too. Banks are paranoid these days thanks to anti money laundering legislation. I think there's plenty of opportunity for the bastard to have ****ed up while transferring money through someone else's account, you might be able to follow the cash further than you think.

I mean, he was clumsy enough to put a man's picture on a woman's name passport, who knows what else he might have done.

Why Wisconsin? Looks like you wired the money to New Jersey?

Washington sorry !!

In fact when I have made a complain to the Florida sheriff near Chipley he told me to report to the Washington sheriff, but you are right I will also do to the mount laurel NJ sheriff were the bank is located.

porschenstock 06-04-2021 07:43 AM

Just send a mail to Mount Laurel police were the bank is located.

Don’t be surprised if they do t reply. Banking isn’t local law enforcement jurisdiction.

My only daughter has been battling with ovarian cancer. I have been in CA for 2 months now.
Your car is intact.
