Finally
We love our 928 and maybe one day it will be worth the $ cost to restore it.

Dammit! I had a black 928 S4 wrecked in front i bought for 1K. If I'd kept it you'd be in hog heaven on parts. It was pristine and S4 with a rear spoiler. Sorry! but that was 1999.

Im finding it impossible to buy a 964 right now. Prices are crazy, I was hoping to bid this one in the high 70s or even 80k considering repaint and other history. There are just better options at this price level... now even the $50k SCs look well priced compared to this.

C4 vs C2 not really comparable. I don’t want a C4 especially for C2 money. That car has been listed for like a year or more.

That car has a lot of work done to it and not all original. What kind of top and bottom end for $15k sounds cheap to me and I rebuild these often. That appears to be clean C4 money these days and late my 92-94 C2's are fetching well into the $100k mark these days.
The 928GTS looks similar to mine but mine is amazon green and my paint is all original and perfect with same miles. 5 speeds fetch strong money since so few were imported but honestly I would have expected that to bring a bit more. I might consider selling my GTS since i don't drive it much lately but I would need to get closer to $125k to let it go.
