Help with value
hi All
I am in the market for another Targa and I have found a one owner 1976 targa in light yellow. it has 170k miles and has been resprayed the same original color and the engine was rebuilt at 100k miles. It has been well maintained (pilot owner) with all records, but the engine bay is not as detailed as I would have guessed. No rust and all original, numbers matching. What sort of value range would be a fair price for this car? Thanks in advance. Craig ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Lite yellow is really cool imho. Looks really clean. I just bought this almost exact same car but someone resprayed it black. Mine is a 77 though and has saddle interior. I’d say 40+ in today’s hot market. Maybe even more. Saw a similar middie targa in blue go for 50 last year on BaT. One owner with documents is a huge bonus and adds value.
It also has the front pop out windows- those are so cool! The 5 blade fan is a bit scary from a cooling standpoint, but also unique as most have been replaced with the 11 blade. Conservative driving in cool weather should be no issue. Need details on the engine rebuild. Who did it what was done etc

Thank you for the numbers - I am trying to get more details on the engine rebuild, but supposedly documents since new on everything done available. I like the car, I just want to detail the engine bay. I can not get undercarriage pics so I have to go see it to get that. I think it is going to be 35k.

Would have never sold mine if it was a targa.

That is sweet.
I am not sure what it is, i love Coupe's but the targa has always captured my attention. I love the targa bar and the rear glass.
