Yeah I was studying the heads and noticed those dates. Now I'm kicking around cam grinds. I found two lobes with some pitting. General consensus seems to be 964 or Webcams 20/21

I think I've settled in on John's 964 grind for the cams. I've spent some time on the phone with him explaining what I'd like to see, more torque in the 3-4K rpm range. John said he felt the 964 profile was the best for the job. I have reached out to Sal to see if any tuning will be necessary to take full advantage of the new cams. I'm also open to getting the throttle body bored while the car is down. I'm not going to go all in on honing the intake. I thought about Sal's MAF but I think my wife might get mad at me if I start dropping coin on the engine.

I see the car has been fixed and it's back up for sale. Congrats! Are you happy with how it turned out?

Yeah I'm really happy with how everything turned out. Typically I don't drive the car in the winter. But this winter has been pretty mild so I got a chance to get the break in done.

I ended up sticking with the stock cams. After all of my research I couldn't find enough benefit for the extra cost of the new cams.

Decided to put some new skins on it. How the hell that turned into a "while you're in there" is beyond me but I decided to put new spring plate bushings on the car and then have it aligned. This is why I have to get rid of the car!!
