79 3.0 big port engine??? Possible sale

I'm thinking of selling a 3.0 big port motor I have partially started to disassemble. After looking into my rebuild option, I have decided to go a different route.

Anyone have any idea on what price this could fetch? Inalso have the CIS big port intake set up for it as well I would be selling..

Check with user boyt911sc He is putting on an engine building class organized via pelican's forum and has had to source several cores, so he may be a good place to start.

You need to provide significantly more information for anyone to be able to help you. Was it a good running engine with broken studs or burned oil? Was it found on the bottom of a river? What is the history? How many miles etc? How complete?

The more information the better.

watch out for boysc, mr. miagi loves him a deal so if he's interested he may not be a good value determining source. if he does not want it then ya, he will be a great resource.

As DB said more info on the motor would help. heck, mileage and a couple pictures would help us help you.

ive sold two complete large intake CIS systems and as recently as 5 years ago they were not in high demand. Everyone wants just bits & pieces of your complete set. Tony (boysc) is also the resident CIS guru around here. he has file cabinets full of parts and knowledge, he's quite the hoarder...
