What kind of prices for a Pre 1975 911
I finally have a place to work on a project car and wanted to get an idea on price. I have seen 911 prices all over the place. I am wondering if it possible to find a 911 coupe pre 1975 (in California so want pre-smog) project for under 30k. When I say project I mean a running driving car that I can work on and eventually build into my dream 911.

That budget limits your search to 74-75. Running + driving Longhoods (up to MY73) will be out of reach.

Not an impossible task, but under 30K? would be snapped up fast if it were a driver as we are all looking for a 74/ 75 for our next project to eliminate the smog police in CA.
Be patient and don't by a rust bucket regardless if its a driver. Start putting feelers out, friends, coworkers, family - to get one in that price range - My .02, you need to find it before it hits the market. Good luck with your search, PP members are great resources when you find your car. |

I just sold this 75, running and driving for $29,000 so they are out there.
