Value on these seats
These seats came with my 75 when I got it years ago. I have since put sports seats in and need these gone. They are in pretty good condition, previous owner painted the levers silver and I started removing the paint on one of them. What is a fair price for them? Oh and how does one ship a set of seats anyways?

Can't help with a value but one good way to ship seats is in a Uhaul (or similar) wardrobe box. A large one can fit two seats (one upside down on top of the other), with lots of foam peanuts, though that does make for a heavy box. I received my Recaros this way.

Those are strange looking patterns on the insert stitching (at least to me). I had a hard time selling some mid-80's 911 black leather power seats (good leather no rips/good motors with rails) for$1k...Finally let them go for $700 (local)...

I agree the pattern is strange. I had a pair of SC fabric seats like these with a traditoanl pattern I could barely give away. Think I got $400 for them, local. Shipping seats is a pain.

Thanks for your input everyone. Yeah, not sure where the pattern comes from. The material held up nice over the years. Looks like I made a deal with someone kind of local to me so no worrying about the shipping.
