1991 964 cabrio

I have a chance to pick up a 1991 964 Cabrio from a friend. It's white with a black top and interior. 105k, manual trans, original paint, very nice driver. He just had a full service completed with new Michelin Pilot sports, Interstate battery, all fluids serviced, new engine bay fuel lines and tank to engine feed and return lines. All systems work as new.
Any recent comp sales out there? Looks like the late G bodies and the 993's are bringing more $$ for similar miles and condition- is it the over-sized bumpers?

I would say $55k or thereabout based on description.

Late 3.2 cabs and 993 cabs are actually in the same zip code for comparable miles and condition, from what I can see. The delta between coupe and cab is big for all those models.

I just saw a lower mile 92 cab sell privately for nearly 6 figures. The question is being a 91 is it a late 91 or early. They revised the engines starting at serial number 62M06837. These had revised heads and gasketed engines. It is an issue on some cars but usually by 100k the early engine cars need a top end while the later usually last longer. Although this is based on PPI and engine testing.

I know you are friends but a PPI is a must and IMO it might help with the friendship later.
