1977 Porsche 911S Modified
https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/1129371-1977-porsche-911s-modified.html
I have had a lot of looks but no responses (except scammers) At 82,500 cdn (about 58kUS) is this priced too high. Compared to PCAR and BAT it doesnt appear so? |

You'd actually have to put it on BAT to get their prices

To answer your question, yes.
It's a modified middie. That's going to take a different kind of buyer.

Version of Nick's answer... Its a hot rod and they are very specific and being a targa narrows market even more.
Be patient looks like it is a properly built car. It will sell for close to your asking. You might want to reach out to PCar Market and put on their site.

Thanks all
Bucket it does have steel arches for the turbo look, but agree with your other points//thank you and I would say it is restored given where it started as a shell and ended up..with almost every system brought to new or upgraded |

Overall, I like the car but the picture quality makes it difficult to assess the car even though we own a stock 77 911S Targa. I am always appreciative of high quality and detailed pictures.
Not sure that the car has turbo flares, but they are wider than a 77 narrow body car. Is the trunk lid damaged? Could be the picture quality? |

It has neither turbo flares nor has been restored. “I know what I’ve got” type debate with potential buyers is often enough to kill a deal.

I will correct based on prior owner records to indicate SC flares
I have the original photos (not digital) of the ext/int restoration along with all my documented fixes/modernizations Engine lid is original steel + duck so may appear different,,,could use a repaint to remove some of the fiberglass imperfections |

My two cents, the intersection between people who like Targas and Middies and people who like flares, ducktails and decals is somewhat thin, plus like others have said a good chunk of the country is at the start of a five months stretch of darkness, cold, ice, snow, salt and all round misery, plus the car is in Canada which means an extra bit of motivation needed.
I don't think it's priced high, but it's an "illiquid asset" and I would expect it to require a decent amount of patience to find a buyer.
