Value: 1969 911S heads

Wasn't planning on selling these, but someone asked me if I would be willing to part with them. These heads were taken off my motor (69S) in the early 80's at 75K miles. I took them to Competition Engineering in Pasadena (Ray Litz). When I went to buy new pistons, I was faced with the opportunity of 2.0 or 2.2 S Mahle pistons for the same price ($600). I decided to go with the 2.2 pistons (unfortunately no one told me I would be way down on compression) and I had the heads cut for 2.2 cylinders.
So, all new guides, 6 new ATE 3062 intake valves, 6 new TRW 3061 09 sodium cooled exhaust valves. This is the only valve job ever done on these heads. These heads were installed on the motor, but it was never started, so they only have 75K original miles on them before the valve job, and in perfect condition, no broken fins.
I am guessing that they would require 2.2 cylinders and some custom high dome 2.0 style pistons, or welded up and machined back to 2.0 specs. I also heard that Henry at Supertech made some adapters that could be used with the 2.0 cylinders.
Any help at Pricing would be appreciated.
Bob B

Just a shot in the dark, different kettle of fish, and I'm no expert. Recently took possession of a set of 930 heads, used but in good condition, at worst might have needed valve guides. PO said they were worth 5K like that. I didn't pay for them, just part of a deal we did. I bead blasted one except for machined areas and came out beautiful. Already gone last week, sold with my car in bits. Yours are already done and beautiful.

All rebuilt and pristine might be 5K plus to the person in need. Someone will want to beef up their 2 liter car and that will be what they need perhaps. Try 5.5 and settle on 5K? I found a single brand new piston and barrel (one) in my storage the other day. Looks smaller so maybe for 2.0. That made me think of this and your question...

Good luck!

I have a 2.0 S that I was told early on had been upgraded to 2.2 84mm pistons but not sure if this is the actual, case , may have been an early upgrade back in the day or so assumed ..
I would expect your heads to be valued in the $2k- $2.5k range simply because they will require
machining to return to stock configuration ...Bert
