:) We have a 1973 Scout II , white with red top. 2,100 miles and fully loaded with dealer papers and book still in shrink wrap. Sat in a heated garage all its life and was gone through recently to get running.

I would expect that it is worth north of 100k but had no idea that there were buyers out there :). Maybe one day we will drive it or sell it.

I alway loved the Scout. Terribly underrated at the time. That's a cool beauty you have there. Shame you never drove it.

My '88 Land Cruiser has 150k on it. We're the original owners and it looks and drives great. Probably worth $50K+ but it's not going anywhere.

Ha. I had a 73 Scout in HS. I did an axle flip on it and put 35x12 mud tires on it.
Trans mount collapsed on the Rubicon so the front driveline CV was hitting the cross frame.
I made a temp mount out of a piece of pine log. It was nothing more than a axe shaped log that the weight of the trans and transfer case held it in place.
It got me home..
