Not even new in the box.

Wow…

That‘s more than I paid for my old 911SC that‘s served me faithfully with minimal problems for almost 15 years!

A good place to sell, but a poor place to buy!

Thanks always Chris for alerting me to the RUF muffler I bought from another member here. You definitely know your RUF stuffs!! I can never repay you for the favor! Maybe I just don't have the money...

Overpriced rebranded heavy wheels…unless you own a Ruf or are dead set on building a ruflica, that’s just a waste of $$$.

Agreed^

Back in the day, there were few choices for 930 owners who wanted a bigger contact patch--and the Rufs look GREAT.

But today, there are a lot of equally good looking alternatives (Lindsey, Fikse, BBS) that weigh about 60% of the Speedline Rufs, and cost a lot less (and with more choices in size, offset, etc.).

Personally I think Ruf wheels are the only thing (for the most part) other than Fuch's that look good on an impact bumper 911. But for $10k, or even half that, I'll pass.

I agree they are way cool, due to the legendary car they were designed for. All I can say is mine were original on BTR III Ruf a 409 HP car back then, heavy or not they made history. Maybe that is why they are still popular apart from just say heavier than other wheels. The look is part and parcel.

You might send an email to Alois Ruf stating the same. If he even replied he might say... Your car is too slow, get some lighter wheels might help??

Don't forget to say -- YOUR car was too fast 30 years ago, world record fastest production car for years with heavy wheels!! I'm sure that would be music in his ears. He might even give you a discount on parts if you need them, for a Rufica if you want one, but probably not, either way.
