Singer on BAT
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-porsche-911-carrera-2-singer/
Currently at 786K with 9 days to go. Interesting to see how far it goes, my guess 1.75 million. Not crazy about the red on blue.

$970 was a fair value....... held down by higher interest rates.

8 previous owners? Even accounting for dealer/broker owners, that is a lot. Sounds like the seller is a now disappointed flipper.

To me this is the worst singer spec I have see, but that is like the ugliest supermodel....... I still think it is a fantastic drool worthy automobile. Near 7 figures seems fair enough to me. The other more expensive singers on Bat and elsewise seem a bit better specified, but that could be my aversion to red interiors speaking

The early cars were in the $500-600k range to build. I’m guessing it’s had 8 owners because speculators were speculating. I personally don’t think a car like this one should go for 7 figures.

I think it's dumb. Think what you could by for $1M.

While I have not driven one, I imagine you can have as much fun for a lot less and still have something that looks a lot better to boot.
$200,000 builds one hell of a hot rod.

Early car
Less attractive color combo and, the big one.... 3.8L , not 4.0, engine Big $$ for Singer--like any other car-- follow later cars, higher spec, bigger engine |

Informative...... I never thought of a singer in terms of evolution....

Agree but the person who spends $1M on a BAT Singer probably either has many of the things that $1M can buy or has really cared about getting that thing for quite some time.

Drunk bidding from a 20,000 square foot log home mountain retreat sitting on 10,000 acres in Wyoming is my guess.

1M+ for what at the end of the day is a really fancy Bug will never not be insane to me. But I suppose that can be said about a lot of other things.
